How Alin Li OÜ keeps children safe in every in-person and online session.
1. Our commitment
Alin Li teaches school-age children, including learners in Grades 4–6. Our safeguarding policy is mandatory for every trainer, assistant, contractor and volunteer who may come into contact with a child, in person or online. A child is anyone under 18.
Our guiding rule follows the “best interests of the child” principle of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child: if a child may be at risk, protecting the child always comes first.
2. Before anyone works with children
No one works with a child until three checks are complete and on file:
- a criminal-record or good-conduct check, renewed periodically;
- a signed trainer code of conduct;
- a safeguarding briefing on recognising and reporting concerns, repeated every year.
3. How our trainers behave
- Adults stay visible: we use a two-adult or open-door approach and never place a trainer alone with one child in a closed or private space.
- Trainers contact students only through Alin Li’s official channels, never through private messaging or personal social media.
- Online sessions run with cameras on and are co-hosted or recorded where possible; there are no private one-to-one calls without a second adult or a parent present.
- Contact stays professional, age-appropriate and focused on learning. Trainers never keep secrets with a child or ask a child to hide anything from their parents.
4. Zero tolerance
Any romantic or sexual conduct towards a minor, grooming, or deliberately isolating a child from parents or other adults leads to immediate removal and reporting to the authorities. There are no exceptions.
5. What parents can expect
- We ask a parent or legal guardian for written consent before a child joins a programme.
- Consent to photos or recordings is separate and optional; refusing it does not affect enrolment.
- We collect only the information needed to deliver the course, limit who can see it, and delete it when it is no longer needed. See our privacy notice.
- You may withdraw consent at any time in writing.
- If we have a concern about your child’s safety, we will contact you, and the relevant authorities where a child may be at risk.
6. Raising a concern
Every concern is passed the same day to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, who decides the next steps and escalates where needed. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
To raise a concern with us, email Info@AlinLi.com or use our contact page.
