1. Who is responsible

2. Information we use and why

When you contact us or request a programme, we use the contact details and relevant information you provide to respond and take steps toward an agreement. If an order is confirmed, we use the details needed to provide the service, communicate about delivery, administer payments and refunds, and keep required records.

Contract-related processing relies on steps requested before a contract and performance of the contract. Legal obligations support required accounting and compliance records. Proportionate security and complaint handling may rely on legitimate interests. Optional uses requiring consent, such as a learner’s publicity image, require a separate choice and are not a condition of a general enquiry.

3. Children and learning

A parent or legal guardian should arrange a minor’s enrolment. We do not ask for a child’s identity documents, health information, photographs, or detailed personal history in a public programme enquiry. Additional learner information is requested only when necessary through the agreed enrolment process. Separate consent is sought where legally required, including for optional photography or publicity.

4. Cookies, saved resources and your choices

Essential local storage records your privacy choice for up to 180 days. Optional categories start off. Choose Accept optional, Reject optional, or Manage preferences when prompted. You can reopen Cookie & display preferences from the footer or the Display & privacy button on any learning page. Rejecting optional categories does not block access to learning material.

If you allow preferences, saved-resource identifiers, learning-progress identifiers and display settings are stored in this browser. They do not include your name, email or payment details and are not uploaded by these features. Without permission, changes work on the current page but are not saved for later visits. Withdrawing this permission removes the saved copies on this device. Your browser can also clear local storage.

Hosting, security and any required sign-in may maintain their own essential cookies or technical records under their respective notices. These first-party controls do not delete provider-controlled records.

5. Optional Umami analytics

We do not use analytics on this website at present. If we turn on Umami analytics, its script loads only after you allow analytics and only on our production domains. Local previews do not send analytics.

The integration permits page-view measurements and strips URL search parameters, fragments, referrer information and custom event data. It does not add user IDs, capture form entries, record sessions or send learning-progress data. The analytics server still receives the technical information needed for a network request; server access logs and retention must be managed by its operator. Before we turn analytics on, we will update this notice with the hosting location, retention period and service providers.

You can withdraw analytics permission at any time. The site blocks further sends and reloads the page to unload the tracker. Withdrawal does not erase measurements already received; contact Info@AlinLi.com about applicable data rights.

6. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

When your browser exposes an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, this site keeps optional analytics off even if you previously accepted it. It also respects an enabled Do Not Track signal where the browser provides one. GPC conveys a request not to sell or share personal information for cross-context targeted advertising; it is not a request to erase all records or a replacement for every privacy right.

We do not sell enquiry or learner information and do not add advertising trackers. You can still choose to remember display preferences and learning progress. Our GPC support declaration is available at /.well-known/gpc.json. To request access, correction or deletion, contact Info@AlinLi.com.

7. Who receives information

Business information is shared only as needed with the service providers involved in hosting, communications, agreed training delivery, accounting, and approved payment processing, or where a lawful disclosure is required. We do not sell enquiry or learner data.

Card information is entered on the payment provider’s hosted page when that payment method is available, not in this website’s learning pages. A payment provider also acts under its own legal and privacy obligations. We identify the relevant payment provider before payment.

Where personal information is transferred outside the EEA, an applicable transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards are required. Contact us for details relevant to your engagement.

8. Retention and security

We retain enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and resolve the enquiry, then delete it according to the applicable retention schedule. Confirmed order, payment, and accounting records are retained for statutory periods and, where necessary, the duration of a dispute or legal claim. Training records are retained only for the stated learning and verification purposes.

We use proportionate access controls and security measures. No public page provides access to customer requests or internal business records. Please do not include full card credentials or sensitive learner information in messages.

9. Your choices and rights

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. Some records must be retained for legal obligations or claims.

We verify requests appropriately and normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. You can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or the competent authority where you live. Providing necessary contact or contractual information is required to arrange the corresponding service; unrelated marketing consent is not.

10. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the site’s actual data handling changes. A new payment, booking, analytics, or learning service must be reflected here before its collection begins. This notice does not authorize an undisclosed new use of personal information.
